the landscape.
Arnold Grove is a vision for a distinctive residential and community precinct at Block 800 Gungahlin. Set beside the Federal Highway and shaped by the site's established landscape, the concept brings together quality homes, generous green spaces, safe connections and neighbourhood-scale amenity.
Designed at a human scale, Arnold Grove seeks to respect Canberra's Bush Capital identity while creating a welcoming, connected place for future residents and the wider North Canberra community.

Positioned on a principal northern approach to the National Capital, the site offers access to Canberra City, Gungahlin and established North Canberra neighbourhoods.

Landscape and ecology
Designed with nature as its framework.
The landscape is intended to organise the precinct. Existing canopy trees and ecological areas would guide the location of streets, paths, buildings and open space.
Tree retention, native planting and landscaped transitions are envisioned to contribute to shade, wayfinding, identity and long-term amenity. Ecological assessment will inform future design and developments.
Community principles
A connected, calm and human-scale neighbourhood.
Homes in landscape
Quality homes are envisioned within a cohesive green setting, with a low-profile edge towards the Federal Highway.
Shared green spaces
Small parks, gardens and open spaces would offer places to meet, rest and enjoy everyday life.
Safe connections
Internal streets are envisioned for safe movement by drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.
Local amenity
A modest neighbourhood hub is under consideration to provide everyday convenience for residents and the surrounding community.
